How do I take my moulds?
One mould kit is included free with every order, follow our detailed video tutorial to complete your impressions and return them to the return address provided. If your moulds are unsuccessful you will need to purchase another kit, so please take the time to familiarise yourself with the instructions and take your time. Don't take the impressions 5 minutes before needing to leave for work!
TOP TIP: When ready to mix your two putty colours, be prepared to mix them quickly, add to your tray quickly and be ready in the mirror to place in the mouth. The putty has a working time of roughly 60 seconds before it sets.
How do my grillz fit?
Our impression kits are made to capture maximum detail which allows us to create grillz with superior comfort and stability. However there are cases where due to the specific shape or position of a tooth, getting the grill to fit securely without dental adhesive is difficult. If this happens then a small amount of dental adhesive may need to be applied to hold the grill in place. Any denture glue such as Fixodent is suitable to use.
Can I eat, sleep or drink with grillz in?
It is strongly advised to avoid eating and sleeping in your grillz. They are a fashion accessory/jewellery and it is unhealthy for food to become trapped under your grill for extended periods. Likewise, sleeping with a grill in is not advisable as over time they may cause disruption to the teeth causing them to move etc. You can drink with your grill in situ but please practice good oral hygiene and brush your teeth on removal and wash your grill throughly for future use.
How long does it take to have one made?
If you return your mould to us promptly then a typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, however for more complex designs or if shipping to your location takes longer then this time could be extended, please be patient we are making your grillz to perfection.
Do you ship worldwide?
Not currently, we are a UK based and focused brand. However, stay tuned!
Do I ship the impression kit back myself?
Yes, return shipping of the kit is your responsibility and the return address details will be attached to the kit. The sooner it is received, the sooner we can crack on with the production of your new grill.
Can I get my moulds done in person?
Yes of course you can! You'll need to book an appointment with our technician partners who are based in a London lab. You'll be required to pay a £30 deposit, at the appointment they will take your dental impressions and you'll pay the remaining balance of your order.
What products are used?
We offer grillz in silver, dental white or yellow gold, 9ct gold and 18ct gold. We also offer diamond upgrades using Moissanite, VVS lab made diamonds or natural VVS diamonds. Dental gold is an alloy, which is a mixture of gold and other metals such as palladium, silver, tin, or copper. Several types of gold can be used for different looks and purposes, including both yellow and white gold. Silver has also been used in dental work, and so has mercury amalgam.
VVS diamonds stand for Very, Very Slightly Included. This term is a measure of a diamond’s clarity, which refers to the visual appearance of a diamond and its internal inclusions or external blemishes. To obtain a grading of VVS, that means the diamond has very tiny inclusions that are difficult to notice even when viewing the diamond face-up under 10x magnification. Therefore, VVS diamonds are referred to as eye-clean, meaning you are unable to see any of the inclusions or blemishes with the naked eye.
